GameJam Ended, Reflection
So while this game was nowhere near the level of polish I had in my head. I am pretty happy
with what I was able to finish in 14 days while alot of holiday activities were taking place.
This jam I have the confidence to say that Unreal Engine and it's gameframework and workflow are not
as intimidating or overwhelming as they were once before for me.
I learned from this Jam that I should really break down the game that I want to make and plan how the
implementation of the features for future games is to be done in terms of the Engine I use.
Doin so I can break down the game into sections of tasks and do each one instead of being all over the place as I was in past jams.
One thing I have to make sure to do is to not get caught up too much in learning about the engine when I can make the game with what I know right now.
I am just happy to get out a little bit out of the tutorial hell.
