More development underway


This was a very ambitious project for a game jam at the time.
The idea was to have a arcade shooter similar to "Time Crisis" game mechanics but with a cutesy animal crossing vibe to it.
I am happy how the player controller turned out. I learned that you can use the camera rig from Unreal Engine to carry the player around the level. This comes with the benefit of being able to add it into the sequencer to animate the camera in between level zones.

I may actually come back to this project and give it some more polish. The artists who helped making the models and making the level
liked how it turned out.
Some things that I would like to improve on is the transition from firing to taking cover. As it is, it gives a very jerky feel to it, way too fast.

The UI, sound, and VFX are something I would like to change to get it closer to what I want. But a UI designer I am not.
